Kada do\u0111e do preoptere\u0107enja, po\u010detak mi\u0161i\u0107a na kosti se upali. U nekim slu\u010dajevima dolazi i do puknu\u0107a kosti (stres fraktura). Ako je rije\u010d o upali, smanjujemo rutu i u\u010destalost tr\u010danja, ali istodobno provjeravamo da li je na\u0161a obu\u0107a prikladna. Ako se bol ne zaustavi, iako nismo tr\u010dali otprilike jednu do dvije sedmice, mo\u017eemo sumnjati da je kost \u00a0slomljena.
